The truth behind high-protein food labels
Published on

Recently more people are focusing on health and wellness, choosing high-protein foods to get more protein.

This trend is because protein is great for muscle repair, growth, and keeping you full. And as a result, there are now lots of products like high-protein yogurts, cereals, breads, bars, etc often at higher prices for their "better" nutrition.

But, when we look closer, not all these high-protein products live up to their promises. Some have only a little more protein than regular products, and many are heavily processed, which isn't great for health. Plus you are spending so much more on these high protein granolas or cereals, than they are worth.

However, not all high-protein foods are bad. There are some good ones out there that really help as part of a balanced diet. I help my clients figure out which high-protein foods are actually good by teaching them to read and understand food labels, not just the "high protein" claim on the front but the detailed info on the back.
