How 28 days can make a difference on your wellness journey

We often think that we can’t accomplish much in a month as it seems like it’s too short of a period to see any results. We also think that we must give up so much and completely change our lifestyles which is typically not true.

These are some things you can achieve in a period of 28 days:

You can lose weight in 28 days by improving your diet and becoming more active. Rather than getting caught up with fad diets that force you to cut out certain foods or only eat within a particular time frame, you can focus on eating meals that are more balanced and swap some processed foods for healthier alternatives. For example, rather than eating white rice, you can eat brown rice.

Get fitter. Becoming more active also sounds difficult because some of us lead such busy lives with barely enough time for ourselves. However, being more active doesn’t mean you have to set hours aside for intense workouts, it can also mean just going for short brisk walks.

Reduce your sugar cravings. An excessive intake of sugar increases risks of chronic diseases as can cause weight gain. Sometimes when we feel so busy, we turn to the options that we feel are most convenient which usually include processed and sugary foods and drinks which make us feel good temporarily. The problem is that this usually becomes a bad habit and can affect your lifestyle when you just can’t get off the sugar rollercoaster. By consuming foods in the right proportions, you will feel more satisfied, and this will reduce the need for snacking or overindulging in processed foods.
