Do you feel that you've gained weight, but aren't sure? And you keep thinking about it, yet haven't done anything about it. Then you get to a point where you can’t ignore It anymore because you just don’t feel good in yourself. And this happened gradually, over many weeks or months.
Here are six signs you should not ignore that you may have gained weight…
1) Denial
You think you’ve gained weight, yet you don’t want to stand on the weighing scales to check. This is most likely because when you see how much weight you've actually gained, you are going to feel bad about it. But ignoring or denying the weight gain only makes you feel worse; so stand on the scales to check what your weight is. If you've gained weight, I'll show you how to lose it easily and quickly.

2) Your clothes don't fit well
Your clothes have got tight and aren't fitting comfortably anymore. Maybe it’s your belt that needs to be loosened at the end of the day. Or it may be your favourite pair of trousers or jeans are just too snug and you think they shrunk in the wash. Or your bra now needs to be adjusted, it’s on the last hook. And your fitted shirts and tops are stretching, with fabric being pulled when wearing them. And as a result, you've got a section in your wardrobe of clothes you can’t wear and have turned to the looser fitting clothes or are buying clothes a size up.
3) Low confidence
You are feeling low about yourself because you don’t like the way you look and feel. You’ve spent too long trying to lose weight, others see results and yet you still haven’t. Your self-esteem and confidence are being affected and you begin to withdraw from things you previously enjoyed doing, like socialising and meeting family and friends for dinner. Or you stop activities such as cycling, hiking or dancing as can’t keep up anymore.
4) Constantly tired
Your energy levels are low, you wake up tired and struggle through the day. When you have the mid-afternoon slump and need something sugary, you end up snacking on cookies or cake with your cup of tea to lift you up. In the evenings you are falling asleep early so again you turn to sugar or caffeine. Because you are always tired, you don't spend quality time with your family.
5) Aches and pains
You have aches and pains in your body and it’s affecting the quality of your daily life. Your doctor's told you that the extra weight is causing a strain on your knees and back and if you don’t do anything about it, it's most likely to get even worse. Do you know that the risk of osteoarthritis increases when overweight or obese? So don’t take that chance and do something today.

6) Breathlessness
Everyday activities like going up the stairs and walking briskly get you out of breath easily. And the likelihood of being breathless increases when you are overweight or obese.
If you feel even one of these things, do check if you have actually gained weight. And don’t leave it for ANOTHER day, start today to lose weight.
