He also shared that it was a great pleasure to meet the PM and President.
"It is a great pleasure to meet and greet the esteemed President and the Prime Minister," he tweeted.

The meeting comes after Rajinikanth was conferred with the 51st Dadasaheb Phalke Award on October 25 at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. He received the award for his remarkable contribution to Indian cinema.
The superstar, who used to work as a bus conductor before entering the film industry, dedicated the award to his old bus driver friend, who suggested that he join films. He attended the ceremony with his son-in-law Dhanush, who won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in Asuran. Rajinikanth's wife Latha and their daughter Aishwarya, who is married to Dhanush, were also there.
