Indians across the globe celebrate Independence Day 2021
At the heart of this year's commemoration of Indian Independence Day is the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who addressed the nation from the historic Red Fort in Delhi.
A special web portal RashtraGaan.In was created for the festivities, which invites Indians from around the world to get involved with a rendition of the Indian National Anthem.
Everyone is invited to record and upload their videos while singing 'Jana Gana Mana', with a compilation of the uploaded videos to be aired on August 15.
