Sachin-Jigar revive timeless romance with new love song 'Heera' shot in Kashmir

After the big success of ‘Radhe Ne Shyam 2.0’, one of India's popular musician duos Sachin-Jigar are preparing to bring to listeners a unique love song titled ‘Heera’.

The music composers have earlier created romance and magic with soulful tracks such as ‘Saibo’, ‘Nazar Na Lag Jaye’, ‘Sun Saathiya’, ‘Piya O Re Piya’, ‘Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin’ and ‘Jeene Laga Hoon’. With such illustrious music to their credit, the duo is currently in the middle of piecing together a timeless love song titled ‘Heera’. This song is extra special for Jigar Saraiya, who'll be headlining this song as a singer and featuring artist.

The team put together for ‘Heera’ is amid a shooting schedule in Srinagar, Kashmir. Sung by and featuring Jigar Saraiya along with ‘Mirzapur’ actor Shriya Pilgaonkar, the song is composed by Sachin-Jigar, written by Priya Saraiya, and the music video directed by Arunima Sharma. The makers behind the new say it has a resounding melody and scenic visuals in store for listeners and viewers.

Jigar says: "For so long shooting outside was not possible and now that it is, we're so happy to have this piece of heaven in Kashmir as the backdrop of the song. We are very excited to bring to listeners an independent single that speaks of love as we know it.

“Arunima had an amazing concept for this video and can't wait for you guys to see how amazing that is, shooting with Shriya is super fun and the beauty of this place is beyond adjectives. We can't wait to announce the release date of ‘Heera’."

Shriya adds: “Filming this beautiful song in Kashmir has been a surreal experience especially after so many months in lockdown. The beauty of the place has just enhanced the song.

“I’ve loved Sachin-Jigar’s other music and Heeriye has a very soulful, classic romantic vibe to it. I’ve had a really good time collaborating with the team from Mumbai and the local crew from Srinagar who were all wonderful to work with.”
