Popular television presenter Sue Perkins will host a revolutionary new game show, ‘Double the Money’, where pairs of ordinary people are challenged over several weeks to go out in the real world and double their money in a race to win a hefty cash sum.

Joining the illustrious line-up are two British Indian female professionals, iGlobal columnist and nutritionist Radhika Howarth and storyteller Seema Anand. They were confident their friendship will help them navigate the tricky trials for the series which launches on Channel 4 on May 9.

The show will involve pairs of contestants come together on day one to receive a modest starting pot of seed money. As soon as they receive the cash the clock starts ticking and their mission is clear: double the money within the next exhilarating few hours or face elimination from the game.

While Howarth and Anand cannot divulge much at this stage of the game, the duo takes us behind-the-scenes to give some insights into their life-changing experience on the series which was shot last year.

Q

Your message for audience, why should they tune in?

A

So many people dream of doing something like this, but always feel that perhaps they’re not “right” for it; our inhibitions hold us back. We want everyone to know that nothing is impossible, nothing is beyond your grasp. All you need is the desire to do it.

Watch us to see how, as two British Indian women, we tackled business challenges and rolled with the punches because where there’s a will there’s a way. Whatever your age or background, we want you to know there’s nothing you can’t do. Let's celebrate age and wisdom alongside youth and beauty together. Your viewership means the world to us!
