Kolkata-born, Mumbai-based stand-up Anirban Dasgupta returns to Soho Theatre in London in October after his debut Edinburgh Fringe run with ‘Polite Provocation’.
Exploring three generations of his family back to British India and the birth of his daughter, Dasgupta faces the immediate question: what world did he bring his child into? A world full of war, misinformation, disease and division? Is there hope after all?
Anirban Dasgupta is the smart, relatable star of ‘Take It Easy’ and creator of dark comedy ‘Afsos’, both on Amazon Prime, blending personal stories with sardonic cynicism and big laughs in this upcoming show.
