The songs of the 2001 box-office hit ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’ played an integral role in making the film a Bollywood masterpiece. Now, its sequel ‘Gadar 2’ is all set to recreate much of that nostalgia when it hits the cinemas this week on August 11.

Recently, as a special treat for the fans, the makers relaunched the iconic chart-topper Main Nikla Gaddi Leke. The timeless classic tune has created waves across generations, captivating music enthusiasts with its enchanting melody and soulful lyrics and the makers have bought back the song, maintaining its authenticity and also giving it a modern touch.

The rearranged version of the song showcases a heart-warming father-son bond and the song is also sung by an accomplished father-son duo Udit Narayan and Aditya Narayan. Sunny Deol and Utkarsh Sharma are seen grooving on the peppy beats and soulful vocals of the song along with the leading lady of the film, Ameesha Patel. The song has stood the test of time and still continues to resonate with audiences worldwide.

Helmed by Director-Producer Anil Sharma, and produced by Zee Studios, ‘Gadar 2’ once again stars Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in the lead roles.

Deol  said: “I am highly grateful to the fans for their unwavering support for ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’, and I assure that ‘Gadar 2’ will deliver double the action, emotions, and entertainment.”

The sequel picks up as a continuation of Tara Singh (Deol) and Sakeena's (Patel) legacy, set amidst the tumultuous ‘Crush India Movement’ of 1971 complete with powerful dialogues, high-octane action featuring military tankers, trucks, and the iconic hand pump. The filmmakers have promised an adrenaline-pumping adventure with captivating action sequences, stellar performances from an exceptional cast, and soul-stirring music.
