Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has announced his latest film, ‘Bhooth Bangla’, to mark his 57th birthday on September 9.
The announcement sparked excitement across social media, marking a reunion between Kumar and acclaimed director Priyadarshan after a gap of 14 years. Known for their successful collaborations on films like ‘Hera Pheri’, ‘Garam Masala’, and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, this project promises to be another exciting venture for the duo. Unveiling the poster on social media, Kumar gave fans the first glimpse of the horror-comedy film. The teaser shows Kumar sipping on a glass of milk, while a black cat rides on his shoulders—setting the tone for the eerie yet humorous ride that 'Bhooth Bangla’ promises to deliver.
He said: “Thank you for your love on my birthday, year after year! Celebrating this year with the first look of ‘Bhooth Bangla’! Kumar had teased a special project announcement a few days earlier, giving subtle hints to the mysterious world of ‘Bhooth Bangla’ – which translates as haunted house.
