Bhavik Haria, the talented London-based singer on a mission to “keep bhajans alive”, kicked off a set of worldwide concerts with a mesmerising show in north London over the weekend.

‘Yaadein: A Musical Celebration of Life’ drew an enthusiastic audience of over 600 music enthusiasts, swaying and humming along with Haria’s soulful melodies. The concert featured a selection of spectacular bhajans – or Hindu devotional songs – from Haria's recent albums. Some of the songs were also interwoven with popular Bollywood hits, creating an engaging and nostalgic atmosphere. Audience members were fully immersed in the uplifting and intimate experience, enhanced by vibrant decorations that resulted in a memorable evening celebrating the power of music to unite and inspire.

Haria said: “The word bhajan comes from Sanskirt, meaning to worship or share. The words have a repetitive quality for listeners to join in.
