Diljit Dosanjh to bring Hisstory Tour to UK in 2021

Diljit Dosanjh, dubbed the biggest, global Punjabi superstar, has confirmed the dates for his live concerts in the UK for April 2021.

In 2018, Diljit broke the Box Office record when he sold out in Birmingham with his Con.Fi.Den.Tial?live show, reportedly bringing the biggest South Asian crowd to The Arena for the first time, followed by sold-out shows at the SSE Arena Wembley in London and First Direct Arena, Leeds. This confirmed the performer's status as the biggest-selling Indian artist for a single concert at Birmingham Arena.

Ben Sharman, Venue Sales Manager, Birmingham Arena, said at the time: “This has been an impressive?production, not only in design but also in sales figures.

“To be selling?out shows like this highlights Diljit Dosanjh's wide international?reach and fan base in the West Midlands, and it's been a pleasure to?open his UK tour." In 2019, Diljit took his live shows to new heights, surpassing the levels of production in Indian music history with his US and Canada Roar Tour. The shows, which are pegged as a complete experience for the whole family - from young children to the elderly - include incredible visuals and some elaborate production elements.

For the next big outing in the UK, Diljit Dosanjh and his team claim to be ready with the grandest production ever for, in conjunction with Empreo Events.

The tour was initially scheduled for this year but, like many live events, had to be rescheduled due to the coronavirus pandemic lockdown. Any tickets purchased for the July 2020 concert will remain valid for next year, the organisers said.
The singer, actor and TV presenter from Kishanpur in Jalandhar, Punjab, has had a string of Bollywood hits under his belt, most rescently including 'Good Newwz'. He started his music career in 2000, with the release of his debut album, 'Ishq Da Uda Ada', which he followed with 'Dil' in 2004, but it wasn't until his third album, 'Smile', in 2005, that he started seeing commercial success.
