This week I am sharing a quick and delicious Garlic Edamame recipe, with a bit of spice, for those of you who are looking for vegan protein ideas.
We normally find edamame served in Japanese restaurants in their pods; however, they can also be eaten after being cooked out-of-pod.
The recipe won’t take more than 15 minutes to make and is very easy to follow.
Along with tasting great, edamame is good for you. They are high in fibre, antioxidants and protein, making them a great food for vegans and vegetarians. They also contain folate and Vitamin K.
There are several ways that you can use this recipe: have them as a quick stand-alone snack, incorporate them into stir fry, salads or other main dishes or, serve as a side dish to your main. Enjoy!
