As winter is the time when many people are getting colds, I wanted to share my immune boosting smoothie, made only with natural ingredients.
This smoothie blends oranges, turmeric and ginger, which are all great immune boosting foods, to support your body.
As a tip, always try to have turmeric with healthy fats and black pepper – your body finds it hard to absorb it without these ingredients.
The honey, cinnamon and ginger will add lovely flavours to the mix and are also great anti-bacterial. Oats are also added as they contain fibre to help keep you full for longer!
The orange ginger smoothie is refreshing, light and packed with nutritional benefits. Perfect for any time of day, this can be drunk with breakfast, as a midday snack or even a dessert.
