British Indian author, NHS consultant paediatrician and TV presenter Dr Ranj Singh is all set to release his latest book about the brain power for kids.
The new non-fiction book 'Brain Power: A Toolkit to Understand and Train Your Unique Brain' is targeted for children aged seven years and above.
The book's synopsis says: 'Brain Power' is an accessible and engaging guide full of help and advice for keeping minds and brains happy and healthy. It doesn't just explain how brains work – it teaches readers how to train their brains to get better at things they find challenging.
"Nurturing the mental health and wellbeing of kids has always been important. However, there has never been a greater need for it than over the past year or so,” says Dr Singh.
“I wanted to write a book that explains the fascinating ways our minds and brains work, celebrates how unique we all are, whether we are neurodiverse or neurotypical, and teaches readers how to make the most of ourselves. I want every young person who picks up this book to discover how special they are and to feel empowered to be their very best," he said.
The book also explains how different people think differently and why that makes each of us unique. It includes fun workouts for the brain, tips to improve mental health and insights from neurodiverse young people.
The book is published globally by Hachette Children's Group (HCG).
