The mystery begins on a highway in Rajasthan, where college student Preeti suddenly disappears from the scene. A cop passing by is supposedly her last point of contact. Now, can he be classified as a witness or a prime suspect of the case?
In pursuit of a blue car, comes into picture the smart Homicide Intervention Team (HIT) officer Vikram (Rao) whose sharp eyes leave no details unturned. Besides chasing the culprits, the top investigator has his own traumatic past brewing as a side track. Director Kolanu teases glimpses of his haunting experience, however, still leaves us gripped onto it till the very end.

Midway through the plot, Vikram’s girlfriend Neha, who is also a forensic scientist, vanishes into thin air. Are the two cases of the missing women connected? Can Vikram’s acute analytical skills get him to Neha (Malhotra) and Preeti in time? All the characters from neighbours to college friends are each under scrutiny, intensifying the plot.
The film tries to touch upon a number of social issues along the way, right from societal outlook towards marital status and sexual biases. The lingering impact of past trauma on the psyche and mental health aspects of the script are handled with care. A simple, yet intriguing storyline with a sequel on the way.

Any role and Rao successfully works his magic! He adds gravitas to the character and elevates the script with his performance as a tenacious investigating officer determined to get to the bottom of the mystery. Malhotra too executes her role as Neha with utmost precision. The result is a very thrilling watch that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats.
Adapted from the Telugu film of the same name, for those who haven’t watched this one, the Bollywood remake now streaming on Amazon is just as riveting.
