ZEE5 Global celebrates Onam with Jeethu Joseph's hit film ‘Nunakkhuzhi’

After a successful theatrical run, ZEE5 Global is celebrating Onam this week with the world digital premiere of the Malayalam blockbuster 'Nunakkhuzhi'.

This uproarious comedy-drama, helmed by acclaimed filmmaker Jeethu Joseph and starring the versatile Basil Joseph and Grace Antony, promises to take viewers on a wild ride through a day of chaos, confusion, and non-stop laughter. Starting September 13, the film will also be available in Kannada and Telugu dubbed versions.

Director Jeetu Jospeh said: "Nunakkhuzhi is a celebration of life's unexpected twists and turns, woven together beautifully into series of laughter. As they say, 'Laughter is the shortest distance between two people,' and with this film, we aimed to bring families together through humour.

Releasing during the festival period of Onam, we’re thrilled that viewers can now enjoy ‘Nunakkhuzhi’ from the comfort of their homes, making it a perfect family watch.”

‘Nunakkhuzhi’ follows the story of Eby (Basil Joseph), desperately trying to recover his seized laptop with compromising content from an income tax officer. His path crosses with Resmitha (Grace Antony), who's dealing with her own divorce drama. As their stories intertwine, they become entangled in a web of bizarre circumstances involving a dead dentist, a confined woman, and an aspiring filmmaker. This whirlwind of confusion and unexpected connections leads to a series of hilarious misunderstandings and coincidences. Just as Eby thinks he's found a way out of his predicament, a shocking twist threatens to expose all his carefully woven lies. Will he manage to keep his secrets hidden, or will the truth finally catch up with him?
