‘Vikkatakavi: The Chronicles of Amaragiri’, Telangana's first-ever detective series, is all set to premiere on November 28.
Produced by Ram Talluri of SRT Entertainments, directed by Pradeep Maddali and written by Teja Desharaj, the Telugu period thriller delves into the rich history and mystique of Telangana, unravelling the mysteries of the Amaragiri province. Naresh Agastya, in his second collaboration with the platform after the blockbuster ‘Paruvu’, takes on the lead role of Ramakrishna, a young detective uncovering a chilling mystery in the heart of the 1970s Nallamalla Forest. Megha Akash joins him as the royal princess Lakshmi.
Agastya said: “Playing Ramakrishna in Vikkatakavi has been an exciting and challenging experience at the same time. As a young detective, Ramakrishna is driven by a personal mission to uncover the truth, and his journey is filled with twists that test his resolve and intelligence.
“What I love about this role is his depth – he's not just solving a mystery, but also dealing with his own mysterious past. The character’s resilience and determination to uncover the truth despite overwhelming odds make him truly admiring and worth watching. I’m eagerly looking forward to the premiere and confident that audiences will love the thrilling story and the layers of mystery we've created.”

As Ramakrishna digs deeper, he uncovers a far darker secret involving a historical conspiracy, political intrigue, and the tragic death of the king’s son.
