‘Jigra’, a story of bravery, love and determination following a sister’s fight against insurmountable odds, hits cinemas worldwide this week and lead star Alia Bhatt has been doing the rounds for its promotions.

Preparing for its multilingual release, Bhatt expressed her gratitude to the Telugu film industry’s acclaimed filmmaker, Trivikram Srinivas, and actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu for their support for the project. She also highlighted key contributions of Rana Daggubati and Asian Suresh, who played an instrumental role in bringing ‘Jigra’ to Telugu audiences.

“I’m very excited for ‘Jigra’ to release in Telugu,” said the actress during a recent tour of Hyderabad.

Directed by Vasan Bala and produced by Indian film industry giants Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt, and Somen Mishra, ‘Jigra’ is presented by Viacom18 Studios, Dharma Productions, and Eternal Sunshine Productions. Internationally, it is distributed by Moviegoers Entertainment for its global theatrical release on October 11.

The film’s title track, released in the lead up, is a soulful blend of emotion and strength, perfectly encapsulating the spirit of the film. Vedang’s powerful voice breathes life into the track, which speaks to the inner courage that defines the central character of the movie. With Achint’s rich, melodic composition and Varun Grover’s poignant lyrics, the song promises to strike a chord with listeners, leaving a lasting impact with its message of resilience and hope.
