Akshay Kumar reveals star-studded line-up for popular comedy ‘Housefull 5’

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar gave his fans a first look at the star-studded cast of his highly anticipated comedy franchise instalment ‘Housefull 5’.

In an Instagram post that quickly went viral, the actor shared an image from the film's set, showcasing himself with the other cast members Jacqueline Fernandez, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, and Dino Morea.

Akshay Kumar said: “Just another day with this incredible cast. Housefull of actors, one cruise, and endless stories to tell!” 

The fun-filled snapshot captured the playful energy fans have come to expect from the ‘Housefull’ franchise. While Akshay, Riteish, Dino, and Abhishek opted for a more casual look, Jacqueline chose a a glamorous all-black ensemble.

‘Housefull 5’ has been generating a buzz for months, especially with the announcement of its stellar all-star cast. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala has already confirmed the inclusion of leading actresses Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, Chitrangda Singh, and Soundarya Sharma, amplifying the film's star power.

The fifth instalment of the beloved Bollywood franchise is set to release in theatres on June 6, 2025, and fans are already eagerly counting down the days. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the film has an impressive star cast, also including Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Nana Patekar and Jackie Shroff.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar has a diverse range of films including ‘Singham Again’, ‘Sky Force’, ‘Welcome 3’, ‘Shankara’ and the threequel to ‘Hera Pheri’.

Earlier in September, Kumar celebrated his birthday by unveiling the first glimpse of the horror-comedy film ‘Bhooth Bangla’. The teaser showed Kumar sipping on a glass of milk, while a black cat rides on his shoulders — setting the tone for the eerie yet humorous ride that 'Bhooth Bangla’ promises to deliver.

The film is directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms and Akshay Kumar's Cape of Good Films. It is slated for a 2025 release, with more details expected in the coming months.
