Teamwork Arts, producer of the Jaipur Literature Festival (JLF), is ready with JLF London at the British Library, in its ninth consecutive year, from June 10-12, to celebrate books, creativity, dialogue, diversity and varied intellectual discourse.
The five-day Jaipur Literature Festival, held annually in the Pink City of Jaipur in India, is a riot of colour, energy, ideas and music against a backdrop of readings, dynamic discussions and debates. In March 2022, the 15th edition of the iconic Festival was celebrated as the first-ever hybrid Jaipur Literature Festival to much applause and acclaim.

Now, after going virtual for some time, it will be back in the heart of London. JLF London will encapsulate the spirit of the Jaipur Festival, with its pervasive sense of inclusiveness and community, and come again to the heart of London with a caravan of writers and thinkers, poets, balladeers and raconteurs, bringing alive South Asia’s unique multilingual literary heritage at the British Library.
In 2021, JLF London at the British Library was presented as a very special and hybrid festival with a few sessions held live at the British Library, the Aga Khan Centre and the Darjeeling Express Restaurant, and featured the likes of Elif Shafak, Tahmima Anam, Swati Thiyagarajan, Christos Tsiolkas, Raven Leilani, Rory Stewart, among others. Apart from the on-ground sessions running to packed houses, our digital performance during the festival exceeded our expectations by a mile, with our reach and impressions exceeding 5 million and 6 million respectively.
