Catch up with diaspora splash for a Happy, Healthy Holi

The festival of colours is here! Holi holds a quintessential place in the Hindu calendar. The festival is not only one of the most endearing one in India – with its vibrant colours and playful spirit – it also marks the onset of summer across the various Indian states. Traditionally celebrated with colours and water, Holi is a popular festival not just within India but also within the global diaspora.

If you are in Manchester around Holi time, then be sure to check out the many celebrations coming up in this vibrant city.

Earlier, Gita Bhavan Hindu Mandir started off the week with a spiritual experience which included the recital of Shree Satyanarayan Katha as well as a special Phool (flower) Holi.
